so, i've been getting caught up in fairy tale land, again. and, i have to say...it feels oh so good. i love escaping into a land of beauty, magic, make-believe, and adventure. the creative in me comes alive and breathes life into my soul. and, my husband has been asking me & asking me to read this series of books with him for some time now. and, i realized, once again, that my husband is a genius, and knows me super well. this kind of stuff gives me life. i've always dreamed of reading along side my beloved...cuddled up next to him, intensely entering into another world together...SO SO fun. this particular series is a 1970 edition that jimmy found at a thrift store some time back...which makes it even more attractive.
i am on book 1 of this series, The Chronicles of Narnia.
*update: i am now on book 2, Prince Caspian.
jimmy is on book 5 of this series, The Chronicles of Narnia.
*update: jimmy is now on book 7, The Last Battle.
music forEVA.
i am really into this artist right now. her music is so emotional to me. dear friends of ours just introduced us to her...the video is gorgeous.
it's fun to be introduced to a new thing. and, even more wonderful to be re-introduced with an old passion. i hope this will always be true of my life...constantly learning & discovering. but i shall still always be
your passionate friend,
tara.

I'm so stoked that we are finally reading this series together. Though we are books apart, discussing our various perspectives on each has been and continues to be a delight! :-)
YOU continue to be a delight...!
YAY!!! I love the Chronicles of Narnia! :) It is so magical and as you get farther in the series, the analogy of the Lion being Jesus gets to be really powerful! I found myself crying through some chapters because C.S. Lewis captured the heart of Jesus really well. :)
P.s. I really like the video and artist! thanks for introducing more of us to some great music!
